The filmmaker behind Seven, Fight Club, Mank, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button is one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, and for a few years now he has had an agreement with Netflix, in which he can work 100% for the streaming platform.
What no one expected is that Netflix would entrust one of its most anticipated projects to this particular author: the American remake of Squid Game. After the resounding success of the original Korean version, the platform is preparing an American version that could even be extended to other countries. And David Fincher has been chosen to carry it out.
What will we see in the American remake of La Casa de Papel?
At the moment, we don’t have any more information about the remake of Squid Game, but we know that the script will be written by Dennis Kelly, who has worked on the famous Utopia series. Considering that it’s the most popular series on Netflix and in the hands of one of the most interesting directors in Hollywood, we can expect the best from this new series.
