NVIDIA has released a new driver patch to address multiple issues that have affected its recent RTX 50 series, especially the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 models.
Since their debut at the end of January this year, these devices have been subject to criticism for performance issues, with drivers being a crucial aspect for optimizing their operation.
Problems such as black or white screens, unexpected restarts, and application crashes have been reported by millions of users worldwide.
The latest drivers fix almost all Nvidia issues
The new patch, which follows version 576.02 from April 16, includes a total of ten fixes aimed at improving the user experience and resolving issues that have caused frustration.
Among the implemented solutions are the elimination of flickering on screens connected via DisplayPort 2.1, as well as the correction of white screen issues on specific LG monitors that use HDR.
In addition, the update addresses critical bugs in several popular video games, including “Black Myth: Wukong,” “Forza Horizon 5,” “Red Dead Redemption 2,” and “Horizon Forbidden West.”
These titles presented issues ranging from crashes to graphical representation failures, primarily affecting owners of the RTX 50 series, although some problems also impacted earlier NVIDIA models.
This new effort by NVIDIA comes after the release of update 576.15, which had already introduced fixes for issues related to sleep mode output and micro-stutters in V-SYNC. If users did not install this previous version, the new patch will include all relevant fixes.
Despite these solutions, the question remains whether the company will be able to completely eradicate the problems that have overshadowed the launch of the RTX 50 series, leaving open the possibility that complications may continue to arise.
