Rivals season 2 returns November 11: Disney+ and Hulu set final episodes
Rivals comes back on November 11, 2026, on Disney+ and Hulu, opening with three episodes at once. The six that follow will roll out in two parts before the show settles into a weekly schedule, which fits a drama that runs on cliffhangers, betrayal, and full-blown social warfare.
Season 2 starts in the aftermath of Monica Baddingham’s death in the Great Storm. With Monica gone, Tony loses one of his key allies just as his battle with Declan O’Hara pushes deeper into what the official synopsis calls a fever pitch, all tied to the fight for the franchise and the “Cotswolds crown.”
There’s also the mess left behind by Freddie and Lizzie’s relationship, along with Tony’s secret affair with Maud O’Hara, which Monica Baddingham found out about before she died.
Elsewhere, Rupert Campbell-Black is left dealing with his own demons after stepping away from his MP seat. Taggie O’Hara is trying to follow her heart, and the promo material points to even more Taggie-Basil tension.
For people already hooked on Rivals, the show’s return comes with a pretty strong run of momentum. Season 2 reportedly holds a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, has made Hulu’s US Top 10 and Disney+’s global Top 10, has reportedly hit number one in the UK and Ireland, and season 3 is already locked in.
