Succession is the series of the moment. After HBO Max ended the first season of The Last Of Us, the platform is back with the fourth season of Succession. In it, we are reunited with the Roy family to continue the eternal debate about what to do with their media empire.
The premiere of season 4, which will be the last, has shown that the series is in an unbeatable moment before its end. However, episode 2 has added several pieces to the game that make it clear what will be the future of the chapters that are yet to come.

A new betrayal in the making?
Season 4 of Succession began with what seemed like a grand alliance between the Roy sons to take on their father. However, episode 2 makes it quite clear that the cracks in this supposed alliance are not only starting to form, but may have even been there all along. Yes: we’re talking about betrayal.
During the second episode, we see how the Roy sons Roy want to screw their father by trying to squeeze more money out of the upcoming sale of Waystar Royco to GoJo tech titan Lukas Matsson. However, Logan isn’t sure about doing it, so he tries to persuade his sons with an apology while they’re at karaoke. They don’t take it too well, though.

But everything was left open at the end. Logan receives a visit from Roman, his youngest son. He arrives alone and seems to want to make peace with his father, but soon the character played by Brian Cox takes the opportunity to make him an offer… that he can’t refuse?
Throughout the next chapters of Succession we will see if the “smartest son of the family” according to his father allies with him or if, on the contrary, continues with the alliance with his brothers. The cards are on the table and it only remains to see what plot twists are yet to come.
