The Old Way

One of the most interesting features of the production is the decision to use a real shipwreck set built inside a huge tank, far from typical CGI techniques. Portman shares her experience, stating: We drowned on camera. It’s a good thing we had those wetsuits that offer some buoyancy. It was a wild experience. This production choice not only adds authenticity but also allowed the actors to experience the filming conditions in a way that feels genuine.

Directed by Guy Ritchie, known for his elaborate action sequences, Fountain of Youth offers a blend of contemporary action in a style reminiscent of Indiana Jones films. Ritchie has promised that the movie is relentless in terms of action, which starts right away. Highlights include an exciting train chase and a fight in the National Library of Vienna, all filmed on real locations.

Krasinski has shared that performing his own stunts was one of the most rewarding parts of filming, describing it as probably the most fun experience I’ve had in a movie. The film will premiere on Apple TV+ this Friday, promising to take viewers on an exciting and adrenaline-filled journey.
