A full list of Gboard’s emoji mashups are being compiled

So far, over 15,000 possible stickers have been discovered in Google’s virtual keyboard app Gboard. These come from the app’s Emoji Kitchen feature, which allows users to combine different emojis and generate brand-new stickers for use. There’s no official list from Google so other sources are compiling one themselves.

It was previously reported that Gboard is getting more new emoji mashups to improve Emoji Kitchen. There are over 2,000 expected stickers, but encountering them all will be difficult if you don’t have a guide in creating them in the first place. Fortunately, various online sources have begun updating their list of Gboard emoticons to help discover these new mashups.

Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen tool is pretty easy to use as you usually just have to choose two emojis from the displayed list to start combining them. Above the keyboard’s emoji picker is a blank space that shows possible combinations. If the emoticons can’t generate one, it’ll say “Nothing to see here.” You can also keep adding emojis to continue creating new combos—although it’s unclear how the generation works for more than two emoticons.

When you’re satisfied, just tap the new sticker to send it to your chosen messaging app. Emoji Kitchen works on most chat apps. A cool little trick you can also do is add either the Sparkle emoji or the Magic Wand emoji to any smiley to create Google’s iconic blob emojis as stickers. This doesn’t always guarantee the appearance of the sticker to be converted into a blob but it works well enough.

Some of the new emoticons available include Pretzel, Burrito, Popcorn, Apple, Clover, Hibiscus, Potted Plant, Real Heart, Brain, Copyright, Registered, Exclamation Question, and Trade Mark, to name a few. There’s a lot to go through if you plan on exploring all of the new emojis and stickers from the lists, but that’s the fun part of using this cool feature.

Gboard is getting over 2,000 new emoji mashups

Gboard, the virtual keyboard app from Google, will soon be rolling out more than 2,000 stickers for its Emoji Kitchen feature. Additionally, the grammar correction feature previously exclusive to the Google Pixel 6 phone will now be available for all Android phones.

Gboard is constantly promoting features that let you express yourself much more clearly and easily—whether it’s by letting you voice-type to avoid taking too long to reply or by turning your selfies into Gboard emojis. With this new update, users are sure to find more fun in socializing online.

Gboard’s Emoji Kitchen was first introduced back in 2020 and allowed users to combine different emojis to generate brand-new stickers to use. However, the available mashups back then were still quite limited. This time, we’re getting way more stickers to discover. No comprehensive list of combinations was given, though, so you’ll have to discover them on your own.

Emoji Kitchen works on most instant messaging apps. To try it, open your Gboard’s emoji picker and start choosing some emojis to see what stickers they’ll generate. They’ll appear on the empty space above the keyboard and will also display some suggested combinations. There’s another feature, too, in which the text you type can be generated into stickers themselves—although this isn’t available for all users just yet.

The last feature mentioned is Gboard’s grammar correction tool. Now, other Android devices can use this handy tool by simply tapping on a highlighted word on the textbox that indicates an error. It will then display the correct spelling for the word and tapping that will auto-replace the text. All of these updates are great for expanding Gboard’s versatility for communication, so let’s hope that the app continues to improve.

Google is rolling out a very cool new feature for its Gboard keyboard. The search giant is putting to use its famous artificial intelligence and neural network to give users the ability to turn themselves into emojis. The new feature, called Minis stickers, was originally developed for Google’s Allo messaging app. Allo never really caught on, but Gboard is one of the most popular Android apps ever, with over 1 billion downloads.

All Gboard users need to do to make their own set of Mini stickers is hit the Minis button next to GIFs and other stickers. This will then open the selfie camera, and Google will get to work turning the resultant picture into a series of emoji stickers. The Google AI will consider hair color, eye color, face shape, and facial hair when creating the personalized avatars.

From there, Google will then turn each personal avatar into sticker packs with over 100 different stickers covering all sorts of moods. Users can also decide between bold or sweet emotions offering even greater customization of an already personal sticker set.

Google hopes that Minis will give users the ability to express any mood or emotion using emojis based on their own face with this new Gboard feature. For anybody who isn’t happy with the personalized avatar Gboard comes up with, Google offers the ability to edit each individual part of the emoji.

Putting this new feature in its keyboard app means users will be able to use their own emojis across all their messaging apps. Whether you’re a big user of emojis or not, this is a great new feature and you can be sure to see lots of your friends and family dropping their own emojis into messages soon. Also, it probably won’t be long before the internet starts serving up weird and wonderful personalized emojis. You know it’ll happen sooner or later.
