Epic Games almost leaked Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection release date

We’ve been eagerly awaiting a release date for Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection on PC from Epic Games. The publishing company had placed a blog providing complete details for the upcoming game, with a slot that showed June 20th as the release date. Sadly, it’s updated the page with a “Coming Soon” label, making us wonder what’s happening behind the scenes.

PlayStation gamers have been having fun with the Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection for a few months already. While their gameplay videos do have a few spoilers, the set is mostly a revamp of the original games anyway. If you haven’t been following the news, they contain Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy in all their remastered glory.

The Uncharted movie with Tom Holland (a.k.a Spider-Man), Sophia Taylor Ali, and Mark Wahlberg released on February 18, 2022. You can almost feel the pressure rising as Epic Games tries to release the PC game as soon as possible to follow up on the action blockbuster. Not too long ago, Nathan Drake and other characters from the movies and games appeared in Fortnite. Everyone seems to be jumping on the Uncharted train.

You can read all the latest details on the Uncharted collection on Epic’s store page. To think, it was only last month that we mentioned a possible release date for Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection as July 15th, 2022. If this accidental leak by Epic Games is anything to go by, we may see it sooner than that. Here’s hoping anyway!

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection possible PC release date

We already knew that the Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection was coming to PC thanks to its inclusion in an investor report from last year. However, the only hint of a release date was that we could expect the PC version shortly after releasing the Playstation 5 version. This collection is now available to play on Playstation 4 and 5, and we’re eagerly awaiting the PC release.

The Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection includes Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as well as Uncharted: The Lost Legacy – two remastered games in one. These games now promise improved graphics, frame rates beyond 60 frames, improved 3D sound, and more detailed gameplay. However, one of the best improvements is the exclusive release to PC.

With the collection available for Playstation 4 and 5 from January 28th, we’ve been eagerly awaiting the announcement of the PC release date. We might just have our answer. SteamDB shared an update on the possible release date on his channel and Twitter. He mentioned that Valve had to add release timestamps to the API of all upcoming games, even if they only show as coming soon so that the store can reserve the space for the new releases. He tracked the games on the database and found a potential release date of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves collection and many other games set to be released this year.

According to this information, the Uncharted collection will be released to PC on July 15th. This is by no means an official release date, as a lot can still happen to change or affect this date. However, it gives those looking forward to the release some idea of when they could expect the game.

We look forward to seeing if Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves will be coming to PC at the end of July.
