Capcom continues to expand the universe of Monster Hunter Wilds, as it has announced a series of updates that promise to further enrich the gaming experience. To celebrate the sale of 10 million copies, the company has shared a letter from the game director, detailing the upcoming features that will arrive, including customizable appearance weapons and new Arch Tempered monsters.
A necessary performance adjustment on PC in the coming days
The first of these updates, known as Title Update 1, will be released on April 4. This will include a reduction in VRAM usage, as well as other adjustments that will improve game performance on PC. In addition, modifications will be made to the mechanics of the mantles, favoring their use by nerfing the Corrupted Mantle and buffing the other mantles, thus seeking a fairer balance among the options available to players.
One of the most notable topics of the update is the introduction of Arch Tempered monsters, with King Dau as the first challenge of this kind, available starting April 30 through a limited event mission. These monsters will offer a higher level of difficulty than conventional Tempered ones, which promises to intensify the hunting experience for the most experienced warriors.
On the other hand, it has been confirmed that there will be a crossover event with another Capcom title at the end of May, which will continue the tradition of previous collaborations that have often included event missions and special armors. In addition, the arrival of the second title update is anticipated during the summer, which will include a power increase for the hammer and balance adjustments for other weapons, although specific details are still limited.
With each new update, Monster Hunter Wilds reaffirms itself as a titan in the action-RPG genre, maintaining its relevance and appeal to the gaming community.
