The 1.2 update of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is now available and brings one of the most anticipated features: official support for mod creation through Steam Workshop. This tool will allow players to customize over 300 elements of the game, opening up a range of creative possibilities never seen before. From modifications that transform characters into skeletons to the option to turn chickens into dinosaurs, the creator community will have total control over their gaming experience.
Surprisingly, the first mods are not the nude ones
Warhorse Studios, the game’s developer, has stated that this new feature will make it easier to search for and install modifications, thus enhancing customization in a title that is already appreciated for its realism and narrative depth. Although some bolder options, such as nudity mods, are part of the conversation, for now, such modifications have not been released, leaving players with more humorous and creative options.
In addition to support for mods, the update also includes over 1,000 fixes and improvements, and a new barber shop that will allow the protagonist, Henry, to change his physical appearance. It’s not just an aesthetic change, as a new hairstyle will also temporarily influence the character’s charisma, adding a new strategic element to the game.
However, not everything is good news, as the promised hardcore mode is not included in this update. This feature is expected to be launched later in the spring, which keeps the excitement in the gaming community that is looking forward to this additional challenge. For those interested in knowing all the details, the extensive patch notes are available on the official game page.
