Number 1 in Spain for over a month

Mufasa: The Lion King is positioned interestingly within the franchise’s timeline, as it is both a sequel and a prequel. The plot takes place after the 2019 remake of The Lion King, exploring Mufasa’s formative years, one of the most iconic characters in the saga.

The cast features prominent voices, including Aaron Pierre as Mufasa, Donald Glover as Simba, and Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala. Their daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, will also join the cast as Kiara, adding a family touch to this production.

Despite the rating of Mufasa: The Lion King, the participation of a stellar cast, which also includes Mads Mikkelsen and Seth Rogen, promises to add value to this new installment. However, the quality of the film is a mystery that viewers will have to determine for themselves when it launches on the platform just 3 months after its theatrical release.
