The confirmation was made during the PC Gaming Show, establishing a specific date after a period of uncertainty and the vague release forecast of 2025 that had been discussed until now.

Despite the enthusiasm that Paralives generates among players, the outlook is uncertain given the fierce competition in the life simulation genre. Recent titles like Life by You were abruptly canceled by Paradox Interactive due to criticism questioning their quality compared to The Sims 4. For its part, enZOI, another competitor launched in early access, sold a million copies but has received mixed and negative reviews, being criticized for its lack of originality and for not meeting the high expectations it generated.
In contrast, Paralives presents a more encouraging proposal.
