The movie Dragonball Evolution is considered a major failure, as it failed to capture the essence of Akira Toriyama’s work. Both the professionals involved and Toriyama himself, who is no longer alive, acknowledged that the movie did not capture his universe, which reinforced the perception that Dragonball Evolution is perhaps the greatest disappointment in the field of film adaptations of video games and mangas.
