All video game companies want their own event, knowing that few festivities have as much pull as this one. If there is any that does. There may be bigger ones, like Christmas, but as widely celebrated as this, surely none. That’s why Pokémon Go couldn’t miss out on the party.
From Niantic, they have revealed that from October 22 to 28, they will celebrate their Halloween event, featuring a Pokémon that we would never have thought to be so scary: Morpeko. Appearing for the first time in the game, we will be able to switch mid-battle between Full Belly Mode and Hangry Mode, which will change its type between electric and dark, making it a particularly versatile Pokémon.
In turn, we will have some more surprises. For example, two events priced at $2 and $5 respectively. The $2 event will offer us Pokémon, both new and old, with Halloween costumes, in addition to a handful of premium items. The $5 event, however, will give us some candies and a Morpeko onesie, allowing us to choose between a Full Belly Mode version and a Hangry Mode one.
To conclude, Gastly will appear in Dynamax Raids, giving us the opportunity to obtain a ghost Pokémon in them. Something particularly appropriate during these dates and that, we are sure, many of you will appreciate the chance to get Gengar, or as we call it in this house, the best Pokémon of all.
