Voice actor from Mortal Kombat 1 leaks that the new character in the game will be Terminator, but not the one you’re thinking of

It has been leaked which could be one of the next characters to arrive in Mortal Kombat 1 thanks to the fact that one of its voice actors has blurred out

It seems that voice actors have officially become the main source of leaks in the video game industry. Not a week goes by without us having to tell you that one of them has unintentionally or unknowingly revealed something that has not been announced yet. This time, the game affected is Mortal Kombat 1, which has had one of its DLC characters leaked, although it won’t happen anytime soon.

Andrew Morgado, the actor who voices Reptile in Mortal Kombat 1, has leaked the identity of the next character appearing in the game. During a podcast, he mentioned that he coincided with other actors in the recording studio, naming some of them, such as Ronda Rousey and Robert Patrick. Morgado stated that Patrick was there to record his dialogue lines for the T-1000 character, the iconic liquid metal villain from Terminator 2. This information was not confirmed by anyone, and Morgado himself seemed unaware that it was not public knowledge.

In any case, this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone. In Mortal Kombat 11, the previous installment of the franchise, the T-800 already appeared as one of the fighters released as DLC. Given that the franchise had Arnold Schwarzenegger portraying one of the most charismatic and memorable robots in cinema history, it was expected that they might double down on their efforts by bringing in his most famous rival.

While it’s true that Netherrealm, the developers of the game, have neither confirmed nor denied the information at the time of this news publication, the leak appears very credible. In the meantime, they continue to work on the characters already confirmed as DLC. These include familiar faces like Quan Chi and Ermac, as well as cameos from characters like Homelander, Peacemaker, or Omni-Man, for whom we have even seen a trailer. Therefore, it seems to be a matter of time before this slimy villain in Mortal Kombat is confirmed, and we learn more about it.

Megan Fox to voice the legendary MK1 Nitara character

According to the latest trailer, Megan Fox will be the voice behind the MK1 Nitara character, which will be making its return to the lineup after several years.

Following the announcement of Mortal Kombat 1, rumors began circulating online regarding potential celebrity castings in the game. One such rumor suggested that actress Megan Fox would have a role in MK1 in some capacity.

Speculation ranged from the possibility of NetherRealm and WB Games, including Megan Fox’s Jennifer’s Body character as downloadable content (DLC), to skepticism about the rumor’s credibility. Travis Scott’s name had also surfaced in connection with the game, adding to the intrigue surrounding potential celebrity involvement.

Megan Fox will voice the MK1 Nitara character

NetherRealm Studios has officially revealed Nitara as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 1, with Megan Fox providing the character’s voice for the game.

This marks Nitara’s return to the roster after 17 years, with her last playable appearance in Mortal Kombat Armageddon. Her character design in MK1 has been updated, notably missing her eye patch and featuring red hair. However, she retains her iconic wings, and her armor now has a more ornate and demonic aesthetic.

Nitara made her debut in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance as a vampire from Outworld. She’s a relatively obscure character in the series, with only a few appearances in games and other media. Her return in Mortal Kombat 1 marks her comeback to the series after 17 years, with a redesigned look that retains her iconic wings but features more demonic-looking armor.

In the trailer, you can see Nitara’s fighting style, which primarily involves aerial combat and showcases a blood seal mechanic. Some snippets of the game’s story are also shown, hinting at her anti-hero nature and apparent alignment with the game’s villains.

Megan Fox’s involvement in Mortal Kombat is notable, as she has expressed her love for the franchise in the past. She once mentioned that playing Princess Kitana in the series was one of her dream video game roles. In the trailer, Fox calls Mortal Kombat “one of the greatest video games of all time,” indicating her excitement at being a playable character rather than just making a guest appearance or cameo.

Megan Fox voice acting

The MK1 Nitara character is not Megan Fox’s first-ever voice acting experience. The famous actress previously voiced Mikaela Banes in the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: The Game and Transformers: The Game video games. Fox played the character herself in both movies and voiced the same character in video games, too. Transformers was one of the best movies she did in her career, as her fame almost doubled after it went live. Now, Megan Fox will be voicing the MK1 Nitara character, and it will surely be interesting to hear her voice in a fighting game. Fox might be involved in a similar project in the future.

Epic Revelation: Mortal Kombat 1’s New Announcement Links 30 Years of Gameplay

Warner Bros. has released a new live-action trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 that recreates iconic scenes from the series’ first ad from 1993.

We’re eagerly looking forward to playing Mortal Kombat 1, the reboot of one of the most beloved and aged franchises in the industry. Fighting games wouldn’t be what they are today without those first bloody games from the 90s.

Warner Bros. has released a new live-action trailer for Mortal Kombat 1 that recreates iconic scenes from the series’ first announcement, Mortal Monday.

With just over two weeks left until the release of Mortal Kombat 1, the anticipation is at its peak. For fans of some of the best fighting games, it can be considered one of the most significant releases of the year.

The official live-action trailer gets straight to the point, with former professional wrestler and current movie star Dave Bautista hitting the streets, shouting those familiar words: “Mortal Kombat!”

The trailer runs for just under two minutes, approximately twice the length of the original Mortal Monday announcement from 30 years ago, in which the actor gathered people from all walks of life to participate in unison in the deadly fighting tournament.

Similar to the original trailer, the clip concludes with the crowds of people overtaken by the urge to become violent as chaos erupts in game footage.

It’s more than just a touch of nostalgia from the marketing team, as this new trailer seems to capture the essence of Mortal Kombat 1 perfectly when Bautista shouts to the crowd that it’s “a new era” and a “new beginning.”

The parallel between this upcoming installment and the first Mortal Kombat is reinforced by the fact that the latest entry in the long-running series is being released the same week as the original title, over three decades ago. It’s a battle cry for those who grew up with the original trilogy.

This could explain why this fourth installment of the revitalized Mortal Kombat series by NetherRealm has broken the tradition of the release window. Normally, as has been the case with Mortal Kombat (2011), Mortal Kombat X, and Mortal Kombat 11, the games have always been released in mid to late April.

Mortal Kombat 1 Unleashes Stylish and Brutal Gameplay in Jaw-Dropping Showcase

Mortal Kombat 1 has been teased with an extensive gameplay trailer that demonstrates its new approach, showing that it is more alive than ever.

No one dislikes a good digital bloodbath, and the developers of Mortal Kombat know it well. During the Summer Game Fest, they showcased the first gameplay of their new installment, Mortal Kombat 1, and it looks absolutely stunning. With a redesign of all its characters while respecting the essence of the franchise, it has a slightly more serious tone that, far from taking away its charm, adds impact and intensity to what seems to be one of its most polished and spectacular entries to date.

Mortal Kombat will be released on September 19th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. And if we have to believe the extensive and extremely spectacular trailer shown at the Summer Game Case, we might be talking about a worthy competitor to Street Fighter 6 after all.
