The first season will begin on October 7 and will run until December 2, featuring two autumn-themed events: Skate-o-ween and 7-ply Maple Harvest. These activities are designed to engage the community and creatively celebrate the arrival of the new season. Players can pre-order the skate.Pass through two Founder’s Packs, with prices ranging from €24.99 to €49.99, each with different amounts of in-game currency and exclusive cosmetic items.
The initial success of Skate has been remarkable, reaching a peak of over 78,000 concurrent players after its launch. However, some users have pointed out the need for an offline mode, due to the game’s requirement for a constant connection. To address loading issues, server queues have been implemented, a measure that reflects the intention to improve the gaming experience for users.
EA has also shared details about future seasons. Season 2 will introduce a new cooperative mode and significant improvements, such as group voice chat, while Season 3 promises more character customization options, including tattoos and leaderboards. With each new season, fixes and quality of life improvements will be added, which bodes well for fans of the series.
