So, if your iPhone model is on the list, you can rest assured that your device will be able to receive and run iOS 17.

That being said, it is vital to mention that even if our iPhone is on the list, not all features of iOS 17 may be available for the device. Due to the power requirements for certain functionalities, some features may require newer iPhones. However, this is something we won’t know for sure until the official release of the system in the fall, as changes can occur during the development process.

Lastly, if our iPhone model is not on the list, it does not mean that it will stop functioning. Even if we don’t upgrade to iOS 17, Apple will continue to provide security updates for previous versions of the operating system for several years. This ensures that the iPhone remains secure and functional, even if it doesn’t have the latest features.
