Get Ready for Epic Battles: 33 Immortals Introduces Unprecedented 33-Player Cooperative Gameplay

33 Immortals is a roguelike for up to 33 people that promises plenty of action and confronts us with the ultimate enemy: God himself.

Sometimes video games give us crazy ideas that go beyond what seems possible, and that’s the case with 33 Immortals. The new proposal from Thunder Lotus Games, creators of Jotun, Sundered, and Spiritfarer, is a cooperative action roguelike for 33 players. We will have to face off against the very gods, battling immense hordes of enemies and gigantic bosses that will try to stop us and our allies in our tracks.

Scheduled for a release sometime in 2024, 33 Immortals has been announced for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC via the Epic Games Store. It will also be available day one on Xbox Game Pass. Bringing together 33 players simultaneously to achieve a common goal sounds challenging, so it remains to be seen if they can successfully deliver on their premise. However, on paper, the concept of 33 Immortals sounds like a potential game-changer in the future.

Fable Returns: Xbox Conference Unveils a Fairy Tale Reimagining with Richard Ayoade

Fable goes to the world of fairy tales by the hand of the creators of Forza and Richard Ayoade to make us long teeth.

Finally, we have been able to see more of the new Fable. Presented by Richard Ayoade as one of its characters, it has shown us a much more fantastical world than what we are used to in the franchise, with elements of fairy tales more pronounced than in previous installments. With the protagonist fighting against a giant Ayoade, it seems that the game will have, at the very least, something to do either with giants or with the fact that we are tiny characters in a world of much larger creatures.

No date has been announced yet, but it has been confirmed that Fable will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one. The release date, gameplay details, and supported platforms are still a mystery, although it was previously stated that it would be released on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and Microsoft Windows. This franchise reboot will utilize ForzaTech, the engine used in the Forza series, and promises to bring a fresh twist to both the genre and the saga. We are eagerly awaiting more information and gameplay footage to see what Fable has in store for us.
