Borderlands has turned out to be a complete failure. The movie that adapts the 2K video game is one of the biggest disappointments of this past year, barely grossing 24 million out of the 110 it cost to produce. That’s why the producers are going crazy trying to make the most out of the movie, and that has resulted in an early release on streaming platforms.
As reported by Discussing Film, Borderlands will arrive on streaming on Friday August 30th, just three weeks after its release. This is an almost unprecedented phenomenon since the Covid era, and it makes it very clear that the movie has been a complete failure. But where can it be seen from home?

A resounding failure, now from home
For now, viewers who have been waiting to see it can purchase the movie for $24.99, or rent it for 48 hours for $19.99, on streaming platforms Prime Video, Apple TV+, Google Play, and Fandango at Home. It is most likely that after a few months it will be available on a subscription of the main platforms, although there is still no news about it.
