September is the month of the iPhone. It has been like this for over a decade for Apple, and this year is no exception. Next Monday, September 9th is the day set to officially see the new iPhone 16, Apple Watch Series 10, and AirPods 4. However, now a new protagonist has joined the fray: Apple Intelligence.
Apple knows that the release of its artificial intelligence will be one of the most important points of the iPhone 16. That’s why the company has scheduled several employee meetings shortly after the event, which depending on the store, will take place between September 12 or 13.
Mark Gurman, an Apple specialist, has pointed out through X that the company would be employing a slightly different sales strategy this year. The culprit? Apple Intelligence. Cupertino’s company has started training employees in everything related to AI. Thus, we already know that Apple Intelligence will play a very important role in selling, especially the iPhone 16.
However, we will have to wait a little longer to enjoy Apple Intelligence on our devices. Its release has been delayed until iOS 18.1, a version that we will not have until October. However, even there we will not have all the functions promised by Apple. According to 9to5mac, we will not be able to enjoy Image Playground, Genmoji, or integration with ChatGPT until at least iOS 18.2 or later versions.
