Fallout is one of the series that, almost unexpectedly, can surprise us the most this year. Its premiere on Rotten Tomatoes has been almost unbeatable, with a 95% positive reviews. And it seems that both fans of the original video games and new viewers are going to come together to admire the series, as happened with The Last of Us at the time.
And the thing is, to carry out the Amazon Prime Video series, they have spared no expense. In fact, they have created a real Pip-Boy for the cast to use in the show. Kyle MacLachlan, who plays Supervisor Hank MacLean in the series, has spoken with GamesRadar+ and explained what it has been like to have that iconic video game device.
Turning Fallout into a reality
“I loved working with the little Pip-Boy. How they took that idea, an animated concept, and turned it into a real functional device, was really fun. In fact, they programmed some things in it that we could play with“, explains the actor.
“Everything was preprogrammed, of course, but you really had something you could interact with that wasn’t just an empty thing you were looking at. There was real activity there, which is very useful as an actor“, adds the interpreter who was also Paul Atreides in the first Dune.
