The Kindle Scribe, Amazon’s digital reading device that allows you to handwrite on its screen, has received an update so that you can also search using handwritten text, and, considering how complex it can be for an AI to understand each person’s handwriting, the end result is impressing users with its good performance.
In this way, the Kindle Scribe gains a new feature that continues to enrich the value of this device as a premium version among e-readers in the market. This device incorporates all the typical functionalities of these devices, along with a backlit screen and the option to use it as if it were a notebook.
Handwritten searches on Kindle Scribe
It is always a bit annoying and cumbersome to perform searches on an e-reader where, although the reading experience is excellent, the navigation may feel somewhat outdated. However, thanks to the advancement represented by the ability to perform searches by writing on the screen, users can save time through the feedback received from handwritten texts.
Indeed, its “notebook mode” features specially intuitive interfaces to find each and every page where you have written, drawn, taken notes, or whatever you have done with them. There is no doubt that, despite its high price, the Kindle Scribe is receiving rich and extensive support to justify the value of its products and services.
The most premium e-reader from Amazon
The Kindle Scribe is the most exclusive model from Amazon in its line of reading-focused devices. In addition to featuring a format especially friendly for reading books, this e-book also includes the illuminated screen found in Kindle Paperwhite devices. However, it adds the functionality of using the screen as a notebook, allowing you to write by hand, draw sketches, take notes, or whatever you may need.
Certainly, quality comes at a cost, and the same is true for this unique device, whose price typically ranges between 279 and 329 euros, depending on the time of year and the active offers that are currently available. It may not be an investment suitable for every budget, but if you are a passionate reader and don’t mind investing money in your hobby, this device is one of the highest-quality options in the e-reader market.
