Yes, the end of The Last of Us is just around the corner. The apocalyptic series starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey has accompanied us for the past two months week after week. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end.
We have accompanied Ellie and Joel through the landscape of the United States, ravaged by the appearance of the fungus Cordyceps hsce 20 years ago. Monday 13 will be the day on which we will witness the end of The Last of Us and HBO wanted to give fans one last gift. After the broadcast of the ninth chapter, the platform will release a special episode where we will see how The Last of Us was filmed.
Due to the end of the first season of The Last of Us, HBO Max will premiere the Making Of The Last of Us. Through the documentary, we will see everything that went into the adaptation of Naugthy Dog’s video game to the series. In the trailer uploaded by the official HBO Max account, we see the actors talking about their experience and a bit about the special effects used (as well as seeing Neil Druckmann, creative director of The Last of Us).
The ninth and final episode of The Last of Us will premiere on March 13 (early morning in Spain). Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to see Joel and Ellie again: HBO Max confirmed that we will have a second season, this time based on the sequel The Last of Us Part II.
