Apple TV+ is becoming one of the best current streaming platforms, and now it is about to release one of its most ambitious projects. Presumed Innocent, a 1990 film starring Harrison Ford and based on Scott Turow’s successful bestseller, returns as a miniseries on Apple TV+.
The plot, although not new, remains captivating: Rusty Sabich, a prestigious prosecutor, sees his life crumble when a murder incriminates him. This thriller, originally starring Harrison Ford in the 90s, now features Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role.

The miniseries, which will consist of eight episodes, stands out for being produced by David E. Kelley and J.J. Abrams. Kelley is known for his work on The Practice and Big Little Lies, and Abrams is none other than the creator of series like Lost and the director of the Star Trek reboot and the return of Star Wars.
The cast includes stars like Ruth Negga, Bill Camp, O-T Fagbenle, Elizabeth Marvel, Nana Mensah, Lily Rabe, Renate Reinsve, Peter Sarsgaard, and Tate Birchmore. The series will premiere on Apple TV+ on June 12, coinciding with Apple’s WWDC24 event. A new episode will be released every week until its finale on July 24, under the direction of Anne Sewitsky and Greg Yaitanes.
