We are in one of the best moments in the history of One Piece. However, the original anime bids farewell until April 2025.

However, during these six months of waiting, fans will not be completely deprived of the Straw Hat adventures. Toei has ensured to replace its broadcast with something very exciting for the fans.
The first remastering of the anime arrives
During these months, the original broadcast of One Piece will be replaced by a remastered version of the Fish-Man Island saga, one of the first arcs after the time skip in the series. This saga, which originally had 58 episodes, has been reduced and edited into a more compact format of 21 episodes.

The remastering is not just a simple reduction in the number of episodes. Toei has added significant visual improvements, following the refined animation style we saw in the Wano arc. Additionally, the audio has been re-dubbed in Dolby and visual filters have been implemented to modernize the appearance of this saga, which is key in the story as it shows the return of the Straw Hat crew after two years of training.
