“The Sims 4” modernizes: Long live digital polyamory!
In ‘Lovestruck!’, which you can get on July 25th, characters finally unleash their instincts in as many ways as you can imagine. Throuples? Quadruples? The limit is in your hands. Well, in your sims’ hands.
Monogamy has gone out of fashion. Or so it seems, that’s what EA thought, who in the latest expansion of The Sims 4 will now allow characters to have polyamorous relationships. In ‘Lovestruck!’, which you can get on July 25th, characters finally unleash their instincts in as many ways as you can imagine. Throuples? Quadruples? The limit is in your hands. Well, in your sims’ hands.
The expansion will include not only new relationship models, but also a dating app, things you like and things you don’t, as well as a new world to explore (and fall in love in). And if you don’t want to spend money, don’t worry, because there will be a free patch allowing polyamory for everyone. Yes, finally. It only took 24 years.
Lately, the different game updates have made it more realistic, allowing players to choose the sexual and romantic orientation of their sims and their pronouns. Do you remember the jealousy of the characters in ‘The Sims 2’? Well, now you can forget about that. 21st century advantages.
