The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan has just been released in theaters. It is the latest cinematic approach to the story of Alexandre Dumas, and this time it looks much better than the 2011 version. In fact, The Three Musketeers: Milady starring Eva Green will be released later this year, making it clear that it wants to be a new franchise on IP.
The film released on April 14 in Spain has a classic synopsis of the story but has garnered great reviews on its release:
In the midst of a kingdom divided by war, the young D’Artagnan travels to Paris to become one of the Musketeers, where he meets Athos, Porthos and Aramis, the King’s elite guard. Together they will cross swords and unite their destiny to expose a conspiracy of the Cardinal against the crown.

When is The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan released on streaming platforms?
We’re used to Warner or Disney movies being released after just two months – or even less, sometimes in as little as a month – on their respective platforms: HBO Max and Disney Plus. But what is the case with The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan?
Since it is an independent French production, we are not sure when we will be able to see it on platforms, but it will most likely arrive soon. Perhaps before The Three Musketeers: Milady, which opens next December in France, to generate more audience for the sequel.
Where is The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan online?
Disney Plus will most likely be the home of The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan. This is because the creators of the two original series that serve as spin-offs of the saga and will come directly to the Mickey Mouse platform.
The spin-offs are Milady Origins , centered on Eva Green’s past, and Black Musketeer centered on the character of Hannibal, the first black musketeer in history, based on real events. The production of both series is scheduled for 2023, so we will surely be able to see the films on the platform before then.
