Matt Reeves’ Batman came to light two years ago and with it one of the best films about the masked crusader ever made. Among all the details of the film, however, there is one element that stood out surprisingly: the figure of The Penguin, Batman’s classic villain, played on this occasion by Colin Farrell.
The director liked Farrell’s performance so much that he quickly confirmed a spin-off series about The Penguin on Max. Before the second part of this Batman, we will see the series in question, which will prepare us for what is to come. We already have the trailer and, of course, it is as fascinating as the preceding movie:

The rest of the cast of The Penguin is composed of Cristin Milioti (The Resort) as Sofia Falcone and other actors such as Rhenzy Feliz (Runaways), Michael Kelly (Special Ops: Lioness), Shohreh Aghdashloo (Damsel), Deirdre O’Connell (The Path), Michael Zegen (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), and Clancy Brown (Billions). The series will premiere starting next September on Max.
