A delight for MMA fans
Created by Franck Gastambide and Sylvain Caron, La Jaula follows the story of Taylor, a young fighter with a dream: to reach the top of MMA. However, his path is full of personal and financial obstacles, including a $40,000 debt that puts his family at risk and that he must alleviate with his fists.
The protagonist, Taylor, played by Melvin Boomer, faces, over five episodes, relentless rivals such as Ibrahim Ibra (Bosh), an arrogant fighter who becomes one of his greatest challenges. But he not only faces his opponents in the ring; he also has to deal with the difficulties of everyday life and his own insecurity. The series explores his personal evolution as he fights for his dream and tries to balance his personal life with his rise to the professional world of MMA.

But The Cage is not just for martial arts fans; the series offers something more: a human drama that goes beyond punches and blood. Additionally, the series benefits from the participation of big names in the MMA world, such as Jon Jones, Georges St-Pierre, and Ciryl Gane, who not only bring their experience in the sport but also play key roles in the story as Taylor’s coaches.
