We are currently in the best moment for video game adaptations to film and series. Examples like The Last of Us, Arcane, or Super Mario Bros make it clear that high-quality television can be made by adapting great video game franchises. However, this has never been the case with Halo.
Throughout its two seasons, what has been most talked about regarding the Paramount+ series is its low quality, and this has had such an impact on the audience that, finally, the streaming platform has canceled the project. Although it seems that there is still hope on the horizon, the series will not continue for now.

A series that seemed cursed
Available internationally on SkyShowtime, Halo is based on the franchise of the same name, thus being set in the 26th century. The plot revolves around an intergalactic conflict between humanity, led by the United Nations Space Command (UNSC), and a theocratic alliance of alien races known as the Covenant. In this context, we follow Master Chief, also known as John-117, a Spartan-II, played by Pablo Schreiber, in his multiple battles to achieve his objective. However, it seems that the adventure will be left unfinished.
