Halloween, a cult film directed by John Carpenter, will have two games based on it. For now, we know that they will use the Unreal Engine 5 and that they will have the collaboration of Carpenter himself.
The games are being developed by Boss Team Games, which is behind the recent Evil Dead: The Game. The director has stated in IGN that he is a big ‘video game fan’ and also hopes to ‘scare us a lot.’ Carpenter has also confirmed that he will closely collaborate with the development of both titles, which will allow us to relive moments from the movie and step into the shoes of classic characters, according to Gamespot.
Until now, the Halloween saga has only had one official game, developed for Atari 2600. So far, little else is known about both games, other than the fact that the producers of the franchise will also be involved.
