Alligators and crocodiles are a pandemic in Florida. These large reptiles live at home in the southern U.S. state and interact with humans more often than they would like. That is why it is not difficult to find regular videos and images of people having to deal with them or fleeing in the middle of the city.
On TikTok and Instagram Reels, these videos are strangely commonplace. There isn’t a video under the hashtag #alligator that doesn’t happen here. But eventually, people are starting to take it humorously and make jokes about it. A pokémon that is all too real
Edited as if it were a Pokémon battle, we see how the Florida citizen does his best to lock the huge animal in a dumpster. And it’s not easy. The crocodile moves in front of him and treats the bin itself as if it were another animal, engaging it in combat.
In the end, we see how the young man gets his way… although we don’t know what happens next, as he is cut off at the exact moment when he seems to have caught it. I’m not sure if this is the right strategy for catching an alligator… but if he did it this way, I imagine it’s for a reason.
The Pokémon music and the effects finish giving epic to a video that, in reality, camouflages a sad reality that the citizens of Florida live in their day to day.
