Finally, it seems that Marvel Studios has regained its footing. After a few dark years where every new project from the company turned out to be a disappointment for fans, Kevin Feige decided to make all kinds of changes to prevent this from happening again, and the fiction that has suffered the most is Daredevil: Born Again.
Initially, this series was going to feature some of the original cast from the Netflix series… but completely changing its story so that it had nothing to do with it. The reason was to better integrate the character into the MCU, but when they saw the result, they realized that it made no sense and, apparently, the series will finally have a direct connection to the previous one.

“A really good balance”
In a talk for TV Insider, Vincent D’Onofrio, the actor who plays Wilson Fisk in the series, has explained that, despite being a new series and justified to be so, it will have great connections with the original Netflix series. “At first it wasn’t going to be anything, but now it’s a lot,” the actor explained.
“It’s a really good balance,” adds Charlie Cox, the protagonist. “If you’re going to remake a series and call it season 1 and it’s part of a successful and beloved project, then you have to do what people liked. But you also have to have a reason to remake it. So you have to change it a bit. And that’s just finding a very fine balance.”

The new line from Marvel Studios seems to be making products more accessible so that it is not necessary to watch everything else, but taking into account the journey. In this line, the next Daredevil: Born Again seems to be established, a series in which they will test their good work as a universe while trying to delight the audience with a unique product for superhero fans.
