Christmas is approaching and that means new releases on Disney+. Walt Disney’s streaming service is ideal for those with kids at home, as perfect series and movies for this time of year are released.
The movie is called “Dashing Through The Snow” and stars one of Hollywood’s most beloved actors: Ludacris. You might recognize his face from the “Fast and Furious” movies.
What is Dashing Through The Snow about?
The original title is “Dashing Through the Snow,” and it’s a touching comedy about a social worker from Atlanta who embarks on an unexpected journey on Christmas Eve with his estranged daughter to help her remember the joy and magic of the holidays.
Eddie Garrick (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) is a kind-hearted man who has turned his back on Christmas due to a traumatic experience in his childhood.
At the request of his estranged wife, Allison Garrick (Teyonah Parris), Eddie takes his 9-year-old daughter, Charlotte (Madison Skye Validum), to work with him on Christmas Eve, where they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick (Lil Rel Howery).
Eddie, a social worker, believes the man is delusional and in need of professional help. However, when he incurs the wrath of a local politician (Oscar Nuñez), he and his daughter embark on a magical adventure that might restore his faith in Christmas.
The movie will premiere on Disney+ this coming November 17th, which is this Friday. So, if you don’t have plans and the kids at home don’t know what to do, it’s a great time to grab some popcorn, a blanket, and enjoy a wonderful Christmas adventure.
