American Horror Story always manages to keep its audience on the edge of their seats. Throughout its 12 seasons, the series has explored various aspects of the worlds of horror, fantasy, and science fiction, such as aliens, witches, serial killers with supernatural powers, ghosts, vampires, and much more.

In American Horror Story: Delicate, things aren’t different. Based on Danielle Valentine’s book “Delicate Condition,” the season stars Emma Roberts as a woman desperate to have a baby but who comes to believe someone is sabotaging her plans to start a family.

Kim Kardashian co-stars in the series alongside Emma Roberts, adding even more star power to the show. After all, everything the Kardashians touch seems to turn to gold.

A season that deviates from the traditional canon

But this season offers an additional twist, one outside the series’ regular scope: a midseason hiatus. We’re only five episodes in and there’s already a break between the first and second parts of the story.

And as American Horror Story fans know, the second half of each season is usually the time when things get even stranger than they already are, inserting a season-ending twist that adds to the overall story connected to the series and another layer of sinister narration.

If you want to judge an American Horror Story season by its quality, there’s a lot at stake in the second half to tie up the loose ends left by the writers at the beginning.

When do they release the second part of the season?

The release date for the second part hasn’t been announced yet, but it’s safe to say the series won’t return until 2024.

American Horror Story has never premiered two separate parts in different times within a single season before. It’s unclear if the delay is due to the actors’ strike that lasted over 100 days or another reason. Undoubtedly, we’re talking about quite a… terrifying season.
