Xbox and the controversy over the closure of its studios
The release of Hellblade II comes at a difficult time for Xbox. Recently, the company abruptly closed four major studios, including Tango Gameworks (Hi-Fi Rush), for example. Furthermore, these closures come after the 1,900 layoffs that the gaming division announced last January.
To justify the closure of the studios, Xbox officials stated that these measures are part of a plan to reorganize resources and enhance games from Bethesda (Fallout), among others.
