XPeng Motors has officially launched the MONA M03 Max in China at a striking price point of RMB 139,800 ($19,400), just eight days after its public unveiling.
This model is part of XPeng’s ongoing strategy to make high-tech electric vehicles more accessible, especially to younger consumers.
Notably, 90% of MONA M03 drivers are under the age of 35, indicating a significant appeal among young drivers looking for advanced features without breaking the bank.
New MONA M03 Max Offers Advanced AI Tech at Budget-Friendly Price in China
The original MONA M03 was unveiled in July 2024 and quickly gained traction, emerging as the top-selling electric A-segment sedan in China for eight consecutive months.
This solid performance was bolstered by the initial pricing of its three trim levels, which catered to various budget ranges. The introduction of the MONA M03 Max now brings even more advanced AI-centric technologies to consumers at an incredibly competitive price.
The MONA M03 Max is equipped with an advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and features XPeng’s AI Tianji 5.7.0 Smart Cockpit, enhancing the user experience with more than 300 new features.
Powered by dual NVIDIA Orin X chipsets and monitored by 27 high-precision sensors, the ADAS operates with cutting-edge capabilities usually reserved for vehicles over RMB 200,000 ($27,760).
This positions the MONA M03 Max as a serious contender, challenging preconceived notions of affordability in high-end intelligent driving.
XPeng has also achieved a significant milestone, producing 100,000 MONA vehicles within just seven months—a record for passenger electric vehicles in China.
While the MONA M03 is currently available only in the Chinese market, the company’s focus on integrating artificial intelligence into everyday vehicles aligns with its long-term vision of democratizing advanced automotive technology.
