Yelp announced its new platform that will allow users to order food online for pickup or delivery. Simply called “Yelp Platform”, restaurants can sign up to give patrons the ability to order food online.
For now, the service only supports a select number of restaurants that are supported by delivery.com and Eat24. Yelp has also announced that it’s working on bringing the Yelp Platform to categories like span, yoga studios, salons, and dentists so you can book a time using Yelp.
The service is rolling out today “on any screen that you use Yelp,” meaning the web or your mobile device/tablet. This is an impressive feature that hopefully more restaurants and services use.
