Codemasters has confirmed that there will be a virtual reality mode in the PC version of EA Sports WRC. This way, rally lovers will be able to experience the races in “first person” without leaving their homes.
This is a free patch that will be available from today through Steam, Epic, and the EA store. Currently, it is still in beta state and is expected to improve in future updates.
Codemasters has also released the list of compatible helmets with EA Sports WRC:
- Meta Quest 3
- Meta Quest 2
- Meta Quest Pro
- Valve Index
- Oculus Rift S
- Oculus CV1
- HTC Vive
- HTC Vive Cosmos – partial support
- HTC Vive Pro 2 – partial support
Other helmets like PSVR, PSVR 2, and Apple Vision Pro are not officially supported.

EA Sports WRC is the official title of the FIA World Rally Championship. Racing fans will appreciate its dynamic driving system, which offers a very realistic and precise experience. EA Sports WRC also allows you, among other things, to design your own rally car and participate in different international championships.
EA Sports WRC was released in October 2023 and is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
