Game of Thrones: Legends rolled out its Lord of the Hightower event for mobile players today, October 7. The update brings in a limited-time summon banner tied to House of the Dragon, even though it isn’t connected to any new HBO episode, special, or bonus release.
The Lord of the Hightower event runs from October 7 at 4 a.m. ET through November 4 at 2 a.m. ET. It includes Ormund Hightower, Ser Gwayne Hightower, Otto Hightower, Rhaenyra Targaryen, Aegon II Targaryen, and Sunfyre. Ormund Hightower is the main new addition as a playable character, and he’ll also show up as the featured Champion in Grand Melee from October 12 through October 17.
If you play Game of Thrones: Legends on a regular basis, this is one to pick up. In Game of Thrones: Legends, Summons are limited-time banners where you pull Champion Shards to unlock new characters or power up the champions already in your lineup. The Lord of the Hightower banner joins the other October banners, including Robb’s War and a Winterfell-themed summon.
The House of the Dragon branding has thrown some people off, but there still isn’t any official TV release set for October 7. House of the Dragon season 2 premiered on June 16, 2024, season 3 has already been renewed, and reports say work on seasons 3 and 4 is in progress. If you want the Lord of the Hightower content, you can find it now in Game of Thrones: Legends on mobile.
