It’s normal, and sometimes you just have to deal with it. Other times, though, you can do everything in your power to get them to pick up the controller and share worlds, stories, and pixels. That’s what a guy obsessed with ‘Minecraft‘ did. And the result was spectacular.

Apparently, blinkbomb06’s wife (the author of the Reddit thread in question) asked, in exchange for trying out the game (at the request of their kids), that he build her a black castle where she could live. It sounds like a way to dodge the issue, but he took it seriously. And how! Lava on the outside, a stone bridge at the entrance, fountains, a room for banquets inside, and a multi-level library adorned with a mix of black and purple colors. It’s worth a million euros on Idealista.
It’s even more impressive considering that the pixel architect’s partner has never played a video game, despite their kids’ insistence with ‘Minecraft.’ Few titles defy the years as effortlessly as the nearly fifteen-year-old block game that continues to provide intergenerational content.
Indeed, next year, the 1.21 update will be released, including new materials to work with and more enemies to keep cashing in. ‘Minecraft’ is the best-selling video game in history, and it seems like it will be extremely challenging to surpass its 300 million units sold, miles ahead of the second in the ranking, ‘GTA V,’ which doesn’t even reach two-thirds of that. And if we start building two-story castles for new players, this is just the beginning.
