The year is coming to an end, which means two things: family celebrations are approaching, and a new anime season is about to begin. The winter anime season, starting between the last days of the year and the first days of the following year, tends to be loaded with novelties. It’s not uncommon for some of the most interesting and impactful series to premiere during this season, which is why it’s important to keep an eye on them.
In this case, Crunchyroll has already announced all the anime it will premiere during this season. While there are indeed seven titles yet to be announced, these are the ones that are confirmed. And amidst new releases and comebacks, we have a really powerful season ahead.
Among the new series, standout entries include “Bucchigiri,” the new original anime from MAPPA studio, “Hokkaido Gals are Super Adorable,” an adaptation of Kai Ikada’s manga of the same name available for free reading on Shōnen Jump+, and “Metallic Rouge,” the new original anime from BONES studio. Among the returning series, there are some beloved ones, such as the third season of “Classroom of the Elite,” the second season of “Mashle: Magic and Muscles,” and most importantly, the highly anticipated anime everyone was waiting for: the future island arc of “One Piece.”
While it’s true that Crunchyroll missed out on the big premiere of the season, “Delicious in Dungeon,” which is heading straight to Netflix, Crunchyroll’s winter catalog is excellent. And who knows, it might hold a surprise for the winter. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of all their premieres so you can know everything coming your way in the upcoming weeks.
