The launch trailer for the RE4 remake, which was released on the same day as the game’s release (March 24) includes a small teaser at the end with the news that The Mercenaries will be added to the game as DLC content.

This DLC was an unlockable mode starring Ada Wong that was introduced in the PlayStation 2 version and later re-releases. For those who don’t know, it runs parallel to Leon S. Kennedy’s adventure and solves several questions about Ada’s role in the story.

The game is being very well received at launch and the reality is that Capcom is selling more units of this Remake than of the original game, which shows the good health of the Resident Evil saga and that things are being done well in the Japanese studios.
