After months of waiting, Netflix’s One Piece live action has been released. Although many of us were not sure it was going to work, the platform has silenced all possible mouths, and has made this series a great success with critics and, it seems, also with the public.
There are many reasons why the One Piece series works, from its cast to its script, which has managed to concentrate the entire East Blue arc in just eight chapters. But if there is something that has attracted attention for its quality and good integration is the soundtrack. That’s right, the music used in the adaptation of One Piece has been a success.

The original soundtrack of this live-action version is composed by Sonya Belousova and Giona Ostinelli, who were already in charge of The Witcher. Already in this series they did a great job despite the quality of the series, and gave us unique songs like Toss A Coin To Your Witcher.
In this case, Belousova and Ostinelli have taken familiar anime themes and given them a twist. But, despite the references, it is not this that is most striking, but their new BSO based on adventure and piracy. In fact, the music is very reminiscent of Pirates of the Caribbean, but with a unique touch that only One Piece can give it.
