Gameloft continues to add new content updates to Disney Dreamlight Valley, the adventure simulator from Disney. Their next patch will be released in a couple of weeks and the company is already dropping hints about what’s to come.
The official account of Disney Dreamlight Valley in X has posted a post where the only information given about the update has been a few emojis. Fans are already speculating about the meaning of these and it seems that a consensus has been reached: Monsters, Inc.
It wouldn’t be far-fetched. As a Reddit user has analyzed, each emoji seems to be closely related to different scenes from the movie. “The food = the date that Mike took his girl on and gets ruined because of Boo. The eye and the door = Mike and the scare doors. The girl and the snake = Mike’s girlfriend”.
It is also worth remembering that the presence of Mike Wazowski, one of the protagonists of Monsters, Inc., was already confirmed by Gameloft in the past November Showcase. At that time, the company indicated that this update would arrive “by the end of winter 2024“.
