Undoubtedly, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is one of the most important releases of the month of February (and even of 2024). As usual with this type of release, leaks have not been long in coming and the Internet is already flooded with too revealing screenshots of the game. So if you want to stay pure before starting your adventure in Rebirth, you might want to stay away from social media for a few days.
We’re not exaggerating: according to Kotaku, numerous Reddit, X, and TikTok users have already started warning about the growing proliferation of “screenshots, clips, and descriptions” full of spoilers. Although Square Enix’s title still has two weeks left before it hits the shelves, it’s very possible that some players have already been able to get their hands on early copies from stores.
If you want to avoid all these spoilers at all costs, we propose some solutions:
- Censor and mute keywords: In most social networks, there is an option that allows you to completely block the appearance of certain words. Censoring words like “Final Fantasy”, “Cloud”, “Aerith” or “Rebirth” will make any content related to these disappear from your feed.
- Avoid accessing social networks: If you want to avoid spoilers at all costs, the best thing you can do is not log into your profiles during these weeks. In case it is very difficult for you, simply reduce your usage time.
