Genshin Impact 6.7 goes live July 1: Luna 8, Sandrone and more
HoYoverse says Genshin Impact version 6.7, “Luna 8: Sunny Summer Fontinalia,” goes live worldwide on July 1, 2026 at 11:00 AM UTC+8. When maintenance ends, players will get Sandrone, a new permanent moon area, Stellar-Conduct, and faster dialogue skipping.
For players in the Americas, that translates to June 30 at 8:00 PM PDT and 11:00 PM EDT. HoYoverse’s release timing also puts the update at July 1, 4:00 AM BST, 5:00 AM CEST, and 12:00 PM JST.
This patch wraps up the “Song of the Welkin Moon” arc and leads into 7.0. Sandrone, a 5-star Cryo Claymore Fatui Harbinger, fronts phase one with Citlali. Phase two brings reruns for Columbina and Raiden Shogun, and the new Lightrace Wish banner includes Yae Miko, Cyno, Wriothesley, Qiqi, and Mizuki.
Players are also getting Charlotte for free, HoYoverse says, and Stellar-Conduct is closely tied to Sandrone’s design and overall theme.
If you’re planning out your Primogems with Snezhnaya and version 7.0 in mind, this update still looks worth picking up. That’s even with Genshin Impact reportedly passing $10 billion in player spending and 300 million registered accounts, based on industry estimates and figures HoYoverse shared earlier, though you’ll probably want to spend carefully.
Preloading for Genshin Impact version 6.7 is already available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android, according to HoYoverse. On PC, the pre-install is about 7 GB, depending on your installation and language packs.
