Yes, yes, we know. You, too, are eagerly waiting to learn more about Death Stranding 2, the sequel to the famous game by Hideo Kojima that is set to release, in principle, next year. For now, in addition to the trailers and various previews, the creator has shared with all his fans nine seconds of the game that everyone – absolutely everyone – who buys it will see: the start screen.
New game
And we have been able to clarify some things, mind you. Regarding the game’s art (the image we have already seen ad nauseam, where Sam is holding a baby, we will have five options: Continue, New Game, Load Game, Death Stranding Summary, and Options. And the fact that the summary of the first game is included already indicates that it won’t be particularly friendly for newcomers (as if the number 2 and the fact that it’s directed by Kojima weren’t enough clues for us).
Anyway, don’t get upset if in a few months your title screen of Death Stranding 2 doesn’t look like this, because Kojima himself warns in the tweet that it is “very temporary.” Will we have another image in the background? Other options? Will the “Continue” button have a different font? So many questions and so much time to ponder…
