If you have an iPhone and you like emojis, you are in luck. Apple has released the first beta of iOS 16.4 for developers and along with it, 31 new emojis are included that you will surely burn from use in the coming weeks.
Emojis have become another part of our language and for many they are essential to communicate. With the latest update from Apple, we’re going to have more options than ever to express ourselves in conversations. These all come from the latest additions to Unicode, the symbol standard.
What are the new emojis?
These new emojis were included as a result of a proposal made in July 2022 and were finally added in September of that same year. With the new iOS 16.4, users will receive the final version of these emojis. The entire collection includes 31 new icons that meet a wide range of themes, emotions, facial gestures, animals, etc. However, the form of these will change depending on the platform we use (iOS, Android, Twitter, etc.) but its essence will remain intact.
Among the additions, we can highlight new colors for the hearts, which will now be available in grey, pink and light blue. We also have a melting face, with open eyes and hand in mouth, a greeting face, a woman with a beard, and a person with a crown, among others.
Nature is also part of this update and now we can send emojis of coral, lotus flower, seal and even one of a troll. We also have gestures like the raised hand, flowers and much more. If you are one of those who already have the iOS 16 beta installed.4 on your iPhone, you will have already seen for yourself the new emojis. However, your recipients won’t be able to see them if you send them: to do so, they’ll need to update their devices when iOS 16 is publicly released.4.
