Kingdom Hearts has officially arrived in Fortnite. While it’s not the most obvious collaboration in Epic Games’ game at first glance, given that Square Enix’s fantasy worlds have little to do with automatic rifles and building, at this point nothing surprises anyone anymore. And the truth is that they’ve done a great job capturing the spirit of Kingdom Hearts inside the game. Including the famous Keyblades.
Weapons and skins for everyone
The main highlight is the four new skins for Sora, Riku, Kairi, and Roxas. Each of them also comes with its own Back Bling, Pickaxe, and Lego Fortnite style. On top of that, new weapons have also been added to the game, such as the Keyblade, which is used to attack enemies up close and, when you need more firepower, blast them from a distance with a powerful beam. And if everything else fails, the new Sea Salt Ice Cream will restore your health so you can stay in the match a little longer.
You’ll be able to enjoy all this and more starting next Saturday, September 19, which is when the Kingdom Hearts Power Hour update will launch in Fortnite. Which promises to set the stage for the release of Kingdom Hearts 4, which is slated for late 2027.
