MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls confirms its next three characters

MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls hasn’t been the hit with audiences that either Sony or Arc System Works were expecting, even if it’s a game that has thrilled critics. A perfect remix of what makes the studio’s titles great with the premise of team fighting games and Marvel characters, perhaps because of PlayStation’s situation and fatigue with the Marvel universe, the game hasn’t had the impact you’d expect. Something that could change with the announcement of the three extra characters in the Year 1 DLC.

Three fan-favorite characters

Besides the already announced Phoenix Cyclops, who will be released next November 2, three other characters much more popular with fans have been announced. First up, we’ll have Thor, but in Jane Foster’s version, next winter. Venom will join the roster in spring, but he won’t be coming alone, as he’ll bring a new stage: it will take us to the symbiotes’ planet, the planet KyIntar. And then in summer Jubilee will arrive in a beautiful redesign of her classic costume.

Steam Download

All this DLC will be part of the Year 1 battle pass which already includes Phoenix Cyclops. MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is available on both PlayStation 5 and PC and, with these additions, it could really take off with some fan-favorite characters joining the roster. Especially if Sony and Marvel behave themselves.
